Surviving a weekend is always a bonus.
This particular weekend was in fact a ridiculously busy one which saw the highest temperatures of the year so far, soaring(!) just into the low 20’s.
Friday afternoon took me to the fabulous Brockholes Nature Reserve in Preston, with huge congratulations to Lindsey and Peter who celebrated their wedding ceremony and reception at the venue.
Saturday daytime brought wildlife of a different variety as the Stuart Homer Photography tent was pitched on Ashton Park in Preston for our third annual visit to Ruffs Dog Show. From there, it was straight into Blackpool to support the West Lancashire Football League awards evening, printing on-site and supplying photographs to the winners. Congratulations Guys.
Finally to wrap up the weekend, a full day’s photography on behalf of Myerscough College, capturing as much of the hugely diverse spectacle that is the College’s annual Open Day.
It was great through the weekend to keep bumping into previous clients and friends too, so here’s a huge shout out to all our current and new-found friends. It was great to meet and speak with you!
Now there’s just a little detail of sorting through the 1,969 images photographed during 33 hours of working time. That and catching up on some sleep.
All in all though, a fantastic weekend of colour, spectacle and fun!
