Please bear in mind though, that not all sizes are the same shape - so some
photograph sizes may result in parts of your image being cut off.

All images should print perfectly as a
4"x6" print, since this is the same image shape as captured.
The example on the right shows what can
happen when the image is selected for printing as a 8"x10" enlargement. The
shaded areas of the picture will not be printed, meaning that part of the
picture is lost.
This is because the proportions of the two
pictures are different.
However, all is not lost!
It is easy to check whether any of the
photo you are ordering is likely to be cut-off and lost. Here's how to do
it.
1) After you have clicked
'Order' for the images you want to purchase and chosen the size you would
like, for all the images you wish to purchase...
2) Hover your mouse over 'View
Basket' at the top right of the page, then click the green 'View Basket'
button which appears.

3) The 'My Basket' page will
show how many prints you are ordering and which sizes. Click the 'Print
Options' link which will then open a page showing a thumbnail picture of
each photograph you are ordering of that size.

The orange box will show the part of the
photograph which will be printed, so will let you see if any parts of the
picture are in danger of being cut off.
4) If part of the image is
being cut off you can click the thumbnail picture. This will open a larger
view where you can drag the orange box to better cover the part of the
picture you would like to have printed.

You can also choose to print the photograph
at a different size which may better cover the subject. (eg. as an A4 print,
rather than 10"x8")
5) When you are satisfied,
click 'Save' and then 'Save to Basket'. |
